Crochet Mummy Pattern (Easy Amigurumi Halloween Mummy)

This little mummy is a simple round body wrapped in strips of crocheted "bandages," making it one of the easiest Halloween characters to customize — no complex shaping required.

Materials

• White or cream worsted weight yarn (about 30g)
• Small amount of black yarn for the eyes
• 4.0mm crochet hook
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Yarn needle

Body

Worked bottom-up in a continuous spiral.

Begin stuffing firmly as you go.

Bandage Strips

Assembly

Wrap the strips diagonally around the body in a criss-cross pattern, tacking each strip in place with a few small stitches as you go. Leave a small gap on the face for two peeking eyes.

Eyes

With black yarn, embroider two small round eyes peeking through the wrapped bandages, or attach two tiny safety eyes.

Finishing

Weave in all remaining ends. Fray the ends of a strip or two slightly for a more "unraveling" mummy look.
